He recently joined a private forum with 3 other African producers (Giggz of Xtrim Records @xtrimrecords, Mugo of Waithaka Entertainment @waithakaent and DJ KillBill) who have motivated him and helped guide his creative energy for close to two years as Nali ventured on a mission of self-identity and fused it with an afrohousish sound. He has also received a hand of positive energy from Eric Maigo who was his co-producer in Sababu Ent as well as DJ Sesi who is a popular African house dj in Kenya. Nali’s influences range from his African folk roots, Latin American and World sounds rinsed in electronic dance music. A sound better phrased as Afroelectro, composed of vigorous percussions and ethnic instruments and a lush of emotion-driven analog synth melodies. A project he calls Finali which is a play with the word ‘finally’ as most people have the perception that he took too long to start sharing his works.
